Stone dust is used as a finishing underlayment for installing concrete slabs or pavers. It is also used to economically create footpaths, driveways, and bike paths.

When laying paving stones, do not attempt to compact the stone dust. Only once the paving stones are installed on this finishing sub-base should you use the gas-powered compactor to properly stabilize your landscaping.
